The test can be performed in two ways. We definitely recommend the second method as it is more accurate.


Method 1.


Put on the sporttester.


Set the heart rate recording frequency at the shortest interval, at least 15 seconds or 5 seconds and preferably every 1 second. The heart rate must be recorded throughout the test and restitution.


It is a maximal exercise test.


The treadmill initial speed should be 6km/h. Increase the speed by 2 km/h every 2 minutes. If you’re not able to keep up the pace, stop and take a rest sitting for 5 minutes and monitoring your heart rate.


Method 2.
